Do you have a song you would love to have a recording of? Are you a singer with an idea in your head you’d love to bring to life? With Guitar Lessons Victoria, it’s easier than you think to write, record, and release your very own songs!
If you’re in or around Victoria, you can come record live in the studio. Arrangements can also be done virtually and collaboratively.
Some Recording Examples
Kaleb’s a talented, up-and-coming songwriter who came in to record a few original songs he’d been playing at some of the open mics around Victoria BC. Here are how a couple of those turned out:

Maita Cienska is a talented local musician who hosts a local Folk open mic. We met by chance one day back in 2020 and she came to the studio to record a couple tracks. Here’s one of those tracks:
You can listen to more of Maita and her band on the Hope City Waters Instagram page.
Don’t play an instrument?
If you don’t play an instrument or need additional musical collaboration for a track, Dave can help you out on guitar, piano, and voice (and tons of virtual sounds through the help of MIDI) to help bring your ideas to life.
After the recording, Dave will edit and mix your track. At the end of the process, you will have everything you need to share your music with the world.
Session Rates
Guitar Lessons Victoria currently charges $150/hour for live, off-the-floor recordings (the musician plays and sings at one time and records multiple takes. The best take is then mixed and produced) or “full-band” productions. Due to limited space in the studio, we can’t accommodate a real drum set, but we can, with the help of virtual instruments, create live-sounding drums and other instruments (strings, bass, etc..).
